The setting
Pier One is a Federation-era finger wharf built directly over Sydney Harbour. Event spaces look across the water to Luna Park and the Harbour Bridge, with natural light and direct outdoor access throughout.
Delegates walk from Circular Quay or Wynyard, valet parking is on site, and the airport is a thirty minute drive.
Why it works
Run the sessions in one room, dinner in another, drinks on the waterfront, and put interstate delegates in rooms upstairs. Multi-day programs stay in one place from arrival to checkout.
Everything was impeccable, the decor, the service, the food.

Yes. The Water Room seats up to 160 banquet style, and holds up to 350 for a standing cocktail event. For larger seated formats the events team can configure across connecting spaces, so bring your target number to the site inspection.
Cocktail catering starts from $120 per person and seated dining from $140 per person, with AV available in every room and a coordinator included. Day delegate packages are available for conferences. Each space carries a minimum spend that varies by season and day, so the team quotes exact figures in writing for your date and numbers.
Pier One is walking distance from Circular Quay and Wynyard stations and the ferry terminals, with valet parking on site for those who drive. The airport is around thirty minutes by car.
Yes. The hotel has 189 rooms and suites, many with harbour or Walsh Bay views, and event guests receive discounted accommodation rates. Sessions, dinner and rooms all at one address removes transfers from the schedule entirely.
Every room has AV available, and the Dawes Point Rooms and Water Room are fitted for projection, screens and staging. For heavier production, awards nights and launches, the team works with production partners and can quote the full setup with your proposal.
End of year dates go first, often six months or more ahead. Conferences and meetings can usually be placed with less notice, particularly midweek. If you have a date in mind, an early site inspection is the fastest way to confirm availability.
Next step
